Skillz-N-Skates was established in 1996 by small independent group of guys from New Jersey who love freestyle skating in roller rinks in the New York/New Jersey area. Our mission is to provide quality skates with competitive prices to our friends and fellow skaters. Unfortunately, we lost one of our founding members, Keith Smith, before our new store and new web site became a reality. However, we haven't lost his commitment to provide the best customer service to our dedicated list of satisfied customers.

These days the business has grown into major sales force with a more diverse product line that includes skateboards and aggressive skates. We support small independent businesses with innovative products and services (www.beatkeeper.biz) that started out much like Skillz-N-Skates began. Many of you still “get down” with us at the major skate parties (www.skategroove.com) that are happening across the country. We appreciate the loyal support from our regular customers and welcome onboard the new customers.
